My Story

It has been twenty amazing years since I started doing marketing. I vividly recall my excitement as the internet took off and everyone started talking about 'e-business'. I knew I just had to part of it. 

But my first career would take a solid fifteen years working for large businesses and agencies in Melbourne and the UK before realising that I felt stifled. Big time. 

Bureaucracy, slow corporate decision making, revolving door initiatives, and regular org chart changes all had taken a toll on my psyche.  I wanted more.  It wasn’t all bad though – I worked with some wonderful people and learned how to hold my own in the corporate boardroom. 

Driven to make a bold change and really help people, I reinvented myself as a marketing coach. Being my own boss was a better fit for my creative juices, a desire to earn unlimited income, and a growing family that required more freedom and flexibility. 

There have been many ups and downs and days where I have wanted to throw in the towel. Being a business owner takes strategy, unwavering focus, grit, a desire to never stop learning, discipline, critical thinking and questioning, and a willingness to shift with market changes. There are always a lot of balls in the air. 

Then there are those magical moments when I know I’m doing what I was meant to do Those times are priceless and I get on a high that consumes my body and spirit – and people notice. My clients notice. And I attract more clients by simply doing what I love.   I would love to help you make that transition. 

Everything I have learned over the past two decades I share with my clients so that you can learn from my mistakes and successes.
